With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, we're committed to creating a better future for all. **Job Responsibilities** As an Experienced Full Stack Data Center Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud and network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: * Installing, servicing, and maintaining blithequark's IT infrastructure in a 24/7 environment with rapidly changing priorities while maintaining high availability of the infrastructure. * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement new solutions. * Troubleshooting hardware and software problems, including running diagnostics and firmware updates. * Working with network protocols and concepts, including Linux command line scripting and optical connectivity troubleshooting. * Utilizing cable analyzers, smart network testers, and OTDRs to identify and resolve network issues. * Creating and maintaining technical documentation to ensure clear communication with internal stakeholders and vendors. * Collaborating with the inventory and asset management team to ensure accurate tracking and control of data center assets. * Leading by example, bringing clarity, energy, and a commitment to excellence to all aspects of data center operations. **Key Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on data center operations and network infrastructure. * An Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field. * Strong technical certifications, such as BICSI Installer I or equivalent, Server+, Linux+, Network+, ITIL, or Linux/Unix Certification. * Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with internal stakeholders and vendors. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. * Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally. **Additional Requirements** As an Experienced Full Stack Data Center Technician, you'll be expected to: * Work on complex assignments with minimal supervision, using your judgment and expertise to resolve problems and make recommendations. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions and improve data center operations. * Work in a data center environment with varying temperatures, ranging from 79°F to 105°F. * Use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment. * Travel to domestic and international locations as required. **Why Join blithequark?** At blithequark, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth, innovation, and collaboration.
