Merchandising Intern - Lincolnshire, IL
Join Staples’ Quill brand as a Merchandising Intern to analyze sales trends and develop e-commerce growth strategies in a hybrid work environment.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
• Analyze sales and market trends to develop category growth strategies across cross-functional teams
• Present findings to a variety of groups
• Become an expert in e-commerce by creating best-in-class assortment and content for the Quill.com customer
• Increase customer engagement and drive category growth
About You
The company is looking for:
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Rising junior, enrolled as a full-time student carrying a minimum of 12 college credits
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proficient Excel skills, including the ability to use pivot tables
• Collaborative and able to build partnerships to meet shared objectives
• Customer focused with the ability to identify and understand customer needs
• Inclusive and dedicated to fostering a diverse environment
• Innovative, able to develop new insights and design new solutions
• Self-developer who actively seeks growth opportunities
• Enjoys working in teams and is highly communicative (preferred)
• Able to multitask and flexible to new initiatives (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
• Intern pay rate: $21 per hour
• Hybrid work model: 4 days in office, 1 day remote
• 11-week internship program from June 1, 2026 to August 14, 2026
