Key Responsibilities

  • Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents, using available resources and tools.
  • Scanning documents and printing files as needed, maintaining organized digital and physical files.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and adhering to data integrity and security policies.
  • Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring proper use of office equipment and addressing any malfunctions or technical issues that may arise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be working closely with the data team and Data Manager to achieve the following essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Inserting customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits.
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy, and sorting information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, and checking output.
  • Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents, using available resources and tools.
  • Scanning documents and printing files, when needed, and maintaining organized digital and physical files.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and adhering to data integrity and security policies.
  • Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complying with data integrity and security policies, and ensuring proper use of office equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a strong understanding of data management principles.
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs, including spreadsheets and online forms.
  • Familiarity with administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and printing documents.
  • Experience using office equipment, such as fax machines and scanners, and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Typing speed and accuracy, with excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
  • High school diploma, with additional computer training or certification considered an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an advantage:

  • Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar position, with a strong understanding of data management principles.
