With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, we strive to be the go-to partner for organizations seeking to expand their global reach and understanding. **Position Summary** We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Data Entry Specialist to join our team at our Minnetonka headquarters. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our information products, including books and periodicals in multiple languages. This is a part-time position, requiring 20-25 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling (hours will fall between 8-5, Monday-Friday). If you are fluent in English, have a working knowledge of Chinese (reading fluency preferred), and possess basic computer knowledge, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Specialist, your duties will include: * Entering books and periodicals into our systems in multiple languages, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail * Learning and adhering to specific data entry guidelines necessary for our customer base, demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction * Learning and using the special tools we have built to make foreign language data entry easier, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to learn * Preparing purchase orders for entered products when requested, demonstrating your organizational skills and attention to detail * Cover scanning of important products to be added to our system/website, ensuring that our customers have access to the information they need * Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: * Strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills, ensuring that our information products are accurate and of high quality * Chinese reading and writing language skills required (simplified and/or traditional), with a working knowledge of Chinese language preferred * Fluency in English language, with excellent communication and technical writing skills * Prior experience in academic research, library science, or publishing work environment is desired but not required, demonstrating your understanding of the industry and its challenges * Highly organized and skilled in time management, with the ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, and manage deadlines * Strong track record of accuracy in communications and technical details, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality information products * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products, with the ability to learn new products quickly and adapt to changes in delivered services * Ability to learn new products quickly and to adapt to changes in delivered services, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to grow with our organization **Work Environment and Culture** As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that values innovation, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
