Job Overview

In this high-volume, inbound call center role, you will be the primary point of contact for our members, prospective members, and providers, addressing their questions and concerns regarding healthcare benefits, pharmacy services, provider listings, and more. Your expertise and empathy will guide callers through complex healthcare plans and related systems, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely information, resolving customer concerns, and documenting all interactions with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy
  • Provide members and providers with detailed information on benefits, pharmacy services, provider directories, and other relevant topics
  • Document and track all member/provider contact in our system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Guide members through policy details and regulatory requirements, offering clear explanations and support
  • Process claim referrals, complaints, and appeals in a timely and efficient manner
  • Review and interpret member claims history for accurate benefit tracking and informed decision-making
  • Support credentialing/recredentialing processes for providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Respond to legal documentation requests and prepare trend reports and audit-related documentation as needed
  • Educate members on self-service tools and resolve customer concerns within established guidelines and protocols

Essential Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must:

  • Reside in Oklahoma, with a reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload)
  • Use a hardwired Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi not acceptable) to ensure secure and stable connectivity
  • Be able to attend a full 4–6 week training program without interruptions, demonstrating your commitment to excellence
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred experience in healthcare insurance and call center environments
  • Pass an assessment prior to submittal, showcasing your skills and knowledge in customer service and healthcare support
  • Include the following information at the top of your resume: internet speed test results, confirmation of hardwired connection, confirmation of ability to attend all training, and Oklahoma residency

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a high-volume call center environment, with a proven track record of success
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance plans, policies, and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members, providers, and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer concerns and issues
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant technologies
