Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Operator at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Insert customer and account data into databases, inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits
  • Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities, preparing source data for computer entry
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check output to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents, ensuring comprehensive data management
  • Scan documents and print files as needed, utilizing office equipment efficiently
  • Keep information confidential, adhering to data protection policies and procedures
  • Respond to queries for information, accessing relevant files, and providing support to the data team and Data Manager
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies, ensuring the proper use of office equipment and addressing any malfunctions

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a strong track record of accuracy and efficiency
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs, including spreadsheets and online forms
  • Familiarity with administrative duties, including data management, record-keeping, and office equipment operation
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently, and stay focused on assigned tasks
  • High school diploma, with additional computer training or certification considered an asset

Preferred Qualifications
