Job Scope and Responsibilities

As a Customer Insights Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in supporting new and existing clients in the field of Consumer Insights, Advanced Analytics, and Innovation. Your primary objective will be to achieve planned revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets by proactively searching for new clients and opportunities on the market. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Independently selling Consumer Insights services, Advanced Analytics, and Innovation solutions to clients, assessing their needs, and offering tailored solutions to achieve sales targets.
  • Developing business plans to achieve team objectives, partnering with local Account Development teams to understand client needs and priorities, and scoping projects to meet sales targets.
  • Engaging with clients to secure customer satisfaction, answering their concerns and questions, and providing on-site and off-site consultancy work.
  • Building awareness of blithequark's SA&I portfolio internally and externally through presentations at conferences, client events, and internal meetings.
  • Executing business plans, searching for new opportunities, making suggestions for improvement, and gathering client requirements from commercial teams.
  • Participating in the preparation of sales plans and budgets, managing pipelines, and providing weekly input for forecasting sales.
  • Continuously developing your professional skills and adopting technical knowledge related to blithequark's tools and services.
  • Collaborating with other departments to provide proactive and integrated analysis for customers, making recommendations and proposals.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial discipline rules, reporting needs, and internal processes, including adherence to tracking customer and transactional information in CRM systems.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Behavioral Sciences, Statistics, or a related area.
  • Strong communication, verbal, and written skills.
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and logical skills.
  • Exceptional ability for market and category analysis.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and persistence in finding answers to questions.
  • Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes.
  • Fluency in Romanian and English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
  • Competent negotiation and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in Consumer Insights (sales or consultancy).
  • Broad industry knowledge (FMCG, Banking, Telekom).
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
