Dental Provider Contracting Senior Supervisor - Cigna Healthcare - Remote

Position Summary This role is responsible for leading a multifunctional team that supports Dental network growth and retention including all dental provider contracting activities for specified markets. Ability and willingness to travel frequently within the US include overnight stays to support, provide guidance, coaching, and direction to more junior colleagues and contracting activities as needed within the organization. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Be a point of contact for internal teams who support our clients • Assist direct supports team on more complex contract negotiations • Maintain positive relationships with health care professionals and their office staff • Support organizational initiatives, growth and retention goals • Conduct ongoing feedback to individuals within the team based on their performance and provide coaching as needed for performance improvement • Oversees that activities are conducted according to the policies and procedures of the organization • Provides direction into strategy and delivery of network goals • Responsible for time reporting and delivery of performance reviews and goals • Reporting for team activities weekly and monthly as required Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience in provider services/relation and/or contracting/network development. • Prior Dental Experience preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Extensive knowledge of managed care (DHMO and DPPO) (network design, products, customer service, provider communities, etc.) • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Self-Starter and organized • Previous management experience preferred • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products required • Valid driver’s license • This position can be work at home and should be located within the Northeastern United States If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
