Metadata Specialist (Health IT Documentation) Senior SME / Lead
Designs and governs metadata schemas and controlled vocabularies for the client s documentation repositories, enabling consistent tagging, version traceability, and cross-system search.
<>Key Responsibilities
• Define and manage XML/JSON metadata standards for ICDs, workflows, and system artifacts.
• Implement metadata mapping and lineage across repositories.
• Collaborate with technical leads to ensure schema alignment with FHIR and HL7 standards.
<>Required Expertise
• 10+ years in metadata or knowledge engineering.
• Mandatory: Health IT experience with HL7, FHIR, or healthcare data systems.
• Proven experience with schema design, ontology development, and documentation modernization programs.
<>Tech & Tooling
Oxygen XML, Protg, JSON Schema, Excel validators, SharePoint, GitHub
Work Model: Remote; occasional travel (1 2 site visits). Duration: Nov 6, 2025 Feb 28, 2026
