The Digital Content Creator for Minaret Foundation writes and develops copy for various digital platforms, including our website and social media, serving as an amplifier for our multi-faith and civic portfolio. About Minaret Foundation Our mission is to bring people of faith together to collaborate and build stronger communities. Our vision is a world where we celebrate people of faith as the norm rather than the exception. "Pursue something so important that even if you fail, the world is better off with you having tried." - Tim O'Reilly General Responsibilities: • Develop and implement content marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement with our audience. • Research topics within our portfolio to identify new trends or growth opportunities. • Work with our clergy network, partners, and volunteers to produce videos, infographics, slideshows, and other digital media formats to engage our audience. The tools utilized are Riverside.FM and Canva. • Use SEO best practices and APA guidelines to edit blog posts, newsletters, and other content for our website and social channels. Include your resume as a PDF attachment. Congratulations on reading the entire job description. • Ability to manage time efficiently and operate with little oversight and minimal direction. Our Workplace Environment: We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone, too. In this role, we offer the following workplace conditions: • Remote, forever. Our organization has always been remote, and we have no plans on taking on office space. • Flexible hours. Our staff can spread the majority of their schedule between Monday and Thursday, during the hours when they are most productive. • Four-day work week. We believe in long weekends and more time for yourself! Our office hours are only Monday - Thursday. • Parent, child, and student-friendly. Do you have an upcoming exam, take care of an elderly parent, or need to be there for your children? Do what you need. No questions asked. • Values and morals driven. Our work is driven by our faith values and rooted in the idea that we should help all people, regardless of our differences. No matter your position with us, you will be in a role to help effect change. • No door policy. Power is gained by sharing knowledge, not hoarding it. Everyone has open access to anyone in the organization and can influence projects. Compensation and Benefits: This position is remote, part-time, up to 15 hours a week, with the possibility of additional hours within two months of hire. The hourly wage is between $25 – $27/hour. Paid family leave, 20+ days of paid holiday leave, two weeks of paid time off (PTO), and Gympass are among the benefits each part-time employee enjoys. While we are currently unable to provide healthcare assistance, we are actively working towards this goal, along with a range of additional benefits. Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
