Job Summary and Qualifications Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or Director of Nursing, the Virtual RN Coordinator leads the virtual nurse program and provides nursing leadership for assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care of assigned area(s) with twenty-four (24) hour accountability. The Virtual RN Coordinator delivers high-quality, patient-centered care by determining the predictable health status and health needs of patients through interpretation of health data and preventive practice from a virtual setting. The Virtual RN Coordinator supports the efforts of on-site staff to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models.
