As a mutual-based organization, we're committed to giving back to our community and investing in the well-being of our employees. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Retirement Plans, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of exceptional service to our customers. You will be responsible for answering inquiries, educating customers on available distribution, rollover, and consolidation options, and assisting with account access and resolution of customer requests. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness. **Key Responsibilities** * Answer all inquiries in a professional manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty * Maintain a deep understanding of the requirements relating to retirement plan participants, including distribution, rollover, and consolidation options * Educate retirement plan participants on available options and assist them throughout each process, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience * Assist participants in accessing their account online and resolving requests in a timely and efficient manner * Provide guidance to entry-level associates or peers, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration * Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness, while maintaining an exceptional level of service * Protect assets by adhering to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and established risk guidelines * Produce professional correspondence and demonstrate exceptional verbal communication and customer service skills * Consult with the Client Service and Admin Service teams to provide assistance as volumes dictate * Investigate and resolve participant issues, sharing results with appropriate parties and providing written instructions as needed * Maintain the confidentiality of retirement plan participants, protecting and insuring compliance with policy and procedures * Maintain a global level of knowledge in Retirement Plan areas (New Business, ERISA Plan Services, and Client Services) and remain familiar with daily processing requirements in these areas * Effectively coordinate, join, and/or participate in discussions, serving on committees to improve procedures and resolve problems within teams and across the department **What You Bring** * High School Diploma or GED * College degree preferred * 1-2 years' customer service experience and previous contact center experience required * Retirement Plans Experience preferred * Special skills or knowledge: + Proficient written and oral communication skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time while working within required deadlines + Proficient customer focus with excellent interpersonal skills + Ability to assume ownership and work within a team environment + High level of curiosity and willingness to learn new methods and procedures * Preferred qualifications: + Knowledge of ERISA, IRS/DOL regulations, and qualified plan administration + Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) + ASPPA exams or equivalents + Knowledge of OMNI, Relius, and recordkeeping systems + Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred **What We Offer** * Comprehensive health and welfare benefits, including competitive pay and incentives, 401(k), flexible work schedules, and time off to care for yourself and others * Additional popular benefits, including tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, an incentivized well-being program, adoption assistance, paid time off for volunteering, training, and career development opportunities * A total rewards package that reflects our commitment to employee well-being and professional development * A culture of inclusion and diversity, enriched by individual differences and fostered by a commitment to equal opportunity and affirmative action * A reputation as a company that cares, with a strong commitment to volunteering and community support **Work Environment and Culture** * Remote work opportunity with flexible scheduling and the ability to work from home * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a focus on teamwork and knowledge sharing * Opportunities for professional growth and development, including training and career development programs * A culture of innovation and continuous improvement, with a focus on driving efficiency and effectiveness **How to Apply** If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join blithequark as an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Retirement Plans.
