Our dedicated team of professionals is passionate about providing best-in-class service to customers across the country, protecting them from unexpected and costly breakdowns for almost 15 years. **Job Summary** As a Bilingual Claims Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service to our policyholders, agents, dealers, and internal staff. You will be responsible for answering internal and external phone and email inquiries, providing information and explanations on the various levels of contract coverage and claims processes, and managing workflow to ensure timely and accurate resolution of claims. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for problem-solving, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities** * Analyze information in Vehicle Service Contract and claims system to advise customers of the appropriate benefit amounts * Request and distribute internal information to aid Claims Adjudication Department * Answer phone and email inquiries and provide information and explanations on the various levels of contract coverage, and claims processes * Manage workflow, process, and complete all requests and documents according to established procedures * Be a team member, work effectively in a friendly team environment * Being interactive and communicative with management and co-workers in a visible manner is an essential function of the job; therefore, camera usage is required for training, team meetings, and meetings with management * Other Job Duties, as assigned **Key to Success** * Minimum High School graduate or GED is Required * Strong organizational and customer service skills with ability to problem solve and multi-task must be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry skills * The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information * Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to communicate effectively with contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff/upper management, and customers, call center experience preferred * Proficient working on a PC, working knowledge of MS Office, able to learn new programs quickly, type at least 35 wpm, and document information while discussing the claim over the phone * Automotive Service Department experience preferred. Warranty Administrators, BDC Representatives, Automotive Cashier/Receptionist, Service Writers are also encouraged to apply **Essential Qualifications** * Fluency in English and Spanish is required * 1 year of experience in automotive claims is required * 2 years of experience in de-escalation, conflict resolution, and communication skills is preferred **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in a call center environment * Knowledge of MS Office and other software applications * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Proficient in MS Office and other software applications * Ability to learn new programs quickly * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
