Our team of dedicated professionals is passionate about making a difference, and we are seeking like-minded individuals to join our dynamic team. **Job Summary** As a Pharmacy Technician at blithequark, you will be responsible for supporting our pharmacists in maintaining efficient pharmacy operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty, and adhering to regulatory compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, retail pharmacy environment and contribute to the success of our organization. **Essential Job Responsibilities** * **Pharmacy Operations**: Assist pharmacists in maintaining efficient pharmacy operations, including: + Basic knowledge of RX 30 pharmacy computer system, including: - Refills - Profiles - Workflow - Courier Manifests - Refill Reports + Knowledge of register transactions, including: - Cash - Check - Charge - House charge - Account balances + General knowledge of current phone system and office machines * **HIPAA Compliance**: In-depth knowledge of current HIPAA guidelines and ability to maintain confidentiality * **Customer Service**: Provide exceptional customer service, including: + General knowledge of acceptable medical abbreviations + General knowledge of DME available + General knowledge of brand vs. generic drugs + Knowledge of information needed to properly complete an intake form + Knowledge of auto refill system and website refills * **Inventory Management**: Assist with daily functions, including: + Medication sign out + Restocking of medication vials and supplies * **Continuous Learning**: Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry developments **Preferred Qualifications** * One year of Pharmacy Technician experience * High School graduate or equivalent * Ability to pass a FBI/BCI background check **Skills and Competencies** * Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills * Ability to learn the proper use of mechanical equipment utilized in this position * Ability to talk with other healthcare professionals in a professional, businesslike manner * Ability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods of time * Ability to adapt to change * Ability to meet continuing education requirements **Equipment Operated** * Pill counting machines * Computers * Standard retail machines, including POS system * Telephones * Copy machines * Fax machines **Work Environment** * This position is in a fast-paced, retail pharmacy environment * Evening and weekend work may be required **Mental/Physical Requirements** * Involves standing and walking 90% of the time **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Comprehensive training program to ensure success in the role * Collaborative and supportive work environment **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
