About the Role

As a Manager of Customer Insights on the blithequark Media Network, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and customer engagement. You will work closely with our clients to review their media investments, identify areas for optimization, and develop strategic plans to increase their return on investment. Your expertise in data analysis, strategic planning, and client management will be essential in delivering exceptional results and exceeding our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creates annual strategic learning plans for businesses supported by blithequark
  • Leads Quarterly Business Review Process with our top clients to ensure they are achieving their goals and objectives
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for media performance reporting, providing insights and recommendations to internal partners and external clients
  • Synthesizes disparate data from multiple sources into strategic recommendations for future media investments, presenting findings to internal leadership and external vendor-partners
  • Oversees the development and codification of best practices in media performance evaluation, data visualization, standardized reporting, and insights
  • Tells data stories that support key deliverables such as sales pitches and case studies, presenting complex information in a clear and compelling manner
  • Oversees omnichannel advertising efforts, aggregating insights from multiple sources to support client-facing teams
  • Partners with Product and Ad Tech teams to provide input on reporting capabilities based on client feedback, ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of our clients
  • Integrates knowledge across the Customer Insights & Analytics team to bring relevant insights to the blithequark LMN Insights team and the wider retail media business, highlighting the state of the blithequark customer

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Information Sciences, or Applied Quantitative, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in insights and analytics
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail media or general media analytics, with a proven track record of delivering results-driven insights and recommendations
  • Experience in analytical, decision-making, and project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience storytelling with data, presenting complex information in a clear and compelling manner to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with A/B testing, with a strong understanding of experimental design and statistical analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and visualization
  • Experience working with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar technologies, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Master's Degree in a related field, such as Market Research, Behavioral Psychology, or MBA, with a strong understanding of advanced analytics and statistical modeling
  • Proven experience leading teams and delivering business impact, with a strong track record of driving growth and improvement
  • Experience managing global teams, with the ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed environment
  • Experience working in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of the retail media landscape and the challenges faced by our clients
  • Working knowledge of analytic/research software, such as SPSS, Wincross, Sawtooth, SAS, Decipher, Qualtrics, or similar technologies
