Export Control Manager
One important client is seeking an experienced Export Control SME to lead U.S. export compliance initiatives and act as the authoritative advisor on EAR, ITAR, and related regulations.
What you’ll do
• Drive global export control governance, risk management, and compliance standards.
• Monitor regulatory changes (EAR/ITAR/Executive Orders) and assess business impact.
• Improve and standardize export control processes, reporting, and data analysis.
• Conduct export audits and act as a key advisor to internal partners and authorities.
What we’re looking for
• 8+ years of U.S. Export Control experience (EAR & ITAR) and a law degree or associate degree.
• Strong communication and influencing skills—able to work across multiple business units.
• Analytical, proactive, and highly organized—comfortable making decisions independently.
• Experience with internal audits, regulatory interpretation, and process improvement.
Preferred
• Knowledge of EU/UN export control regulations.
• Experience in the automotive or technology/software environment.
Travel: 10–20% (Domestic & International)
