[Remote] MS SQL DBA / Remote - TX | Contract
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SecureKloud Technologies Inc is seeking an experienced MS SQL DBA with strong knowledge of Azure cloud services. The role involves managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL databases both on-premise and in Azure environments, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, backup, and security of all database systems.
Responsibilities
• Manage and monitor SQL Server databases in on-prem and Azure environments
• Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues
• Implement database security, access control, and auditing
• Support database migrations to Azure SQL / Managed Instance
Skills
• 3 7 years of experience as an MS SQL DBA
• Strong skills in SQL Server (2016 or later)
• Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Studio, and cloud backups
• Knowledge of PowerShell or T-SQL scripting
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
