You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data solutions that meet those needs. Your expertise in data engineering, cloud-based technologies, and data analytics will be essential in helping us to drive business growth and improve customer outcomes. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and develop scalable and efficient data pipelines that drive business growth and insights * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data solutions that meet those needs * Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and data models to support business intelligence and analytics * Work with data science teams to integrate data and models into automated processes * Develop and maintain data shops and data models to support information science and other internal clients * Analyze current data technology conditions to identify and evaluate key skills and suggest solutions * Explore and recommend new tools and technologies to support data pipeline development and management * Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to develop and implement data governance and quality standards * Develop and maintain documentation and technical guides to support data pipeline development and management **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or related field * Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages * Experience with cloud-based technologies, including GCP, AWS, or Azure * Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills * Experience with data governance and quality standards * Experience with data visualization tools and technologies **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark * Experience with data warehousing and data mart design * Experience with data quality and data governance frameworks * Experience with data visualization tools and technologies * Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services **Skills and Competencies** * Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages * Experience with cloud-based technologies, including GCP, AWS, or Azure * Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills * Experience with data governance and quality standards * Experience with data visualization tools and technologies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong collaboration and teamwork skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Aetna, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
