About the Substitute Teacher Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in Fair Haven, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of subjects to students of different ages and skill levels
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of your students
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment

• Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
• Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
• A NJ Substitute Credential
• A background check and TB risk assessment (we will cover the cost of this)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination
• A passion for education and putting students first
• An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience working with students of different ages and skill levels
• Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
• Experience with classroom management and behavior support
