ECAD Librarian Altium

Our client, a global financial service and digital payments company, is seeking an ECAD Librarian Altium. This position is a remote 6-month contract. You must be in the US, with no H1B Visa status. Hourly rate $32.07, W2 + paid holidays through Talent Table. Responsibilities • Create and maintain schematic symbols and footprints. • Create and maintain component database libraries. • Review and ensure all parts conform to IPC, company or manufacturer standards. • Review PCB designs to ensure that footprints are compliant with company standards and up to date. • Review DFM feedback from CM’s related to footprints/DFA and make recommendations to the PCB team. Skills: • Knowledge of IPC standards for footprint design across standard package types. • Ability to read and understand part specification and mechanical drawings. • Experience with database management. • Experience with IPC guidelines. • 2+ years CAD library creation using Altium tools. • Demonstrated database library management expertise with Altium tools (DBLib, Nexus, A365). • Experience with PLM (product lifecycle management) practices and PLM tools such as Agile or Arena. • Some PCB Design experience beneficial. • Some background in mechanical/drafting. • 3D modeling experience a plus. • SolidWorks experience a plus. Must-Have: • Has experience creating and managing CAD libraries (2 yr min). • Has Altium experience (2 yr min). • Has experience with Altium's database libraries. • Attention to detail. Nice To Have: • Jira or ticketing system experience a plus. • Some 3D CAD experience desirable. • Some understanding of GD&T a plus. Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
