This role requires a trusted advisor who can support complex and high-value contracts, work with cross-functional teams to ensure suppliers meet business objectives, and help maximize supplier value while mitigating risk. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage a portfolio of Technology suppliers, including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations * Lead strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and drafting of contracts to maximize supplier value and mitigate risk * Serve as a consultant in Air Operations Technology spend and supplier-related issues * Mentor more junior level colleagues in this space to develop their skills and expertise * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure suppliers meet business objectives * Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements * Develop and implement strategies to optimize Technology spend and supplier relationships * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Technology Supply Chain Management **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field * 5+ years of experience in Technology Supply Chain Management, with a focus on category management and strategic sourcing * Proven track record of success in managing complex contracts and supplier relationships * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders * Experience with contract negotiation and drafting * Strong understanding of Technology industry trends and best practices **Preferred Qualifications:** * Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field * Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g. CSCP, CLTD) * Experience working in the airline industry or a related field * Strong knowledge of contract law and negotiation principles * Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau) * Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and their applications in the airline industry **Skills and Competencies:** * Strategic thinking and problem-solving * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong analytical and data analysis skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Strong understanding of Technology industry trends and best practices * Experience with contract negotiation and drafting * Strong knowledge of contract law and negotiation principles * Ability to mentor and develop junior level colleagues **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
