You'll partner closely with key stakeholders across the organization to enable the technology vision and mission. As a Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for providing analytical expertise, developing and managing scorecards, and creating reports that track the overall progress of American Airlines' technology transformation, providing key insights for leaders up to and including executives.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Defining and tracking performance metrics, developing scorecards, and driving improvement initiatives
• Creating reports and models to drive decisions and strategy
• Integrating and managing large datasets to help tell stories that will inform technology and business leaders and teams, providing insights and recommendations to drive decision-making
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to perform data analysis, develop and implement strategies, and foster "best practices" within technology and product group processes
• Completing other related projects, as assigned

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• At least 3 years of experience in an analytical role, creating dashboards and scorecards
• Experience using creative problem-solving skills to reason with a high level of motivation and analytical abilities
• Proven experience using data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• A Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in a significant field or equivalent experience/training
• Experience creating effective reporting and scorecards for leaders and teams at all levels, up to and including executives, and presenting results and insights to stakeholders
• Experience with DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) and other engineering metrics
• Experience working with agile development teams
