Medical Billing Specialist – Urology Group – Cincinnati, OH

Job title: Medical Billing Specialist Company: Urology Group Job description: The Urology Group is searching for a Medical Billing Specialist to work as Insurance Follow up & Payment Poster specialist. The position is full time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm in our Norwood billing office. After training period is complete, this position offers a hybrid model with a blend of in-office and remote work. Duties: • Monitors assigned portion of the Accounts Receivable (A/R) • Work rejected electronic claim transmitted report for the assigned portion of A/R. • Handle billing calls and answer telephone calls as needed. • Follow-up on any problems encountered as Explanation of Benefits (EOB) are posted, including copying EOB’s for secondary filing and credit accounts. • Verify assigned Insurance carriers receipt of electronic claims submission files. • Perform other duties as assigned.
