Role Overview We're seeking an experienced Lead Construction Estimator to spearhead our estimating efforts, set the pace, and elevate our project proposals to new heights. With a keen eye for detail, strong leadership, and a commitment to excellence, you'll guide a dedicated team and drive accurate, competitive, and winning estimates. If you've spent 7-10 years mastering the art of construction estimation and have led a team for 3+ years, we want to meet you! What You'll Do • Lead the Estimation Team: Drive, mentor, and inspire a team of estimators to consistently deliver top-notch estimates. Your leadership will set the standard for accuracy and efficiency. • Precision Estimating: Dive into project specifications, blueprints, and bid documents, generating estimates that are as close to perfect as it gets. • Collaborate & Strategize: Work hand-in-hand with project managers, architects, and clients to define scope, timelines, and budgets. • Market Insights: Leverage your knowledge of local markets, materials, and subcontractor relationships to create competitive proposals. • Risk Management: Anticipate potential challenges and proactively factor them into estimates to help streamline project execution. What We're Looking For • Experience: 7-10 years in construction estimating, with at least 3 years leading a team. • Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with a knack for numbers and problem-solving. • Leadership: You're a natural coach, and your team thrives under your guidance. • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for working with various stakeholders, from team members to clients. • Tech Savvy: Proficient with estimating software (like Procore or Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
