[Remote] Part Time Accountant: (2 days remote, one day onsite, Chicago Loop)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Connect Search is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support their Treasury and Accounting teams. The role involves performing daily cash reconciliations and related financial activities, requiring strong Excel and reporting skills. Responsibilities • Perform daily cash reconciliations across approximately 400 bank accounts. • Reconcile 10–50 transactions per day, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Prepare and maintain cash support documentation for accounting and audit purposes. • Assist with quarterly payments and cash activity tracking. • Utilize Excel to create and update reports, spreadsheets, and tracking tools (VLOOKUP proficiency preferred). • Monitor and track investments, ensuring all data aligns with financial systems. • Collaborate closely with the Accounting Department to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.
