Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team, working remotely from the comfort of your own home. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions through data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations, generate data-driven, strategic insights, develop high-impact solutions, and communicate accurate results to stakeholders and management.
  • Present findings with a clear perspective and compelling storytelling, enabling your insights to inform product strategy and drive business outcomes.
  • Design, distribute, and maintain flexible self-service tools and dashboards that align with broader departmental objectives, allowing cross-functional partners to access data and identify meaningful insights.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to identify areas of opportunity, define and implement tracking designs for the toolset, and influence prioritization decisions with data.
  • Mentor departmental colleagues on analysis best practices, technical skills, and developments in our organization's data architecture.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Math, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, or other quantitative and analytically rigorous field required.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a relevant field, preferably in business analysis, strategy, startup/tech, or marketing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication style to the audience.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with demonstrated experience using data from multiple sources to solve complex problems, tell a story, and impact overall strategy.
  • Proficiency in SQL/Eden, Google Cloud Platform, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Knowledge of visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, Looker, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Python/Git is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of data architecture and data governance principles.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Design.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and market trends.
