Key Responsibilities
• Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans tailored to the needs of our clients.
• Collect and accurately record data in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to inform treatment decisions.
• Support families and caregivers by providing them with the tools and strategies necessary to implement new skills.
• Create a nurturing and fun learning environment that promotes client engagement and progress.
• Uphold Achieving True Self's mission, vision, values, and beliefs in all interactions and service delivery.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as a Behavior Technician with Achieving True Self, you should possess:
• A passion for working with children and individuals with disabilities.
• The ability to apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles in a fun and engaging manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in using technology for documentation and administrative tasks.
• Reliability and flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and after-school hours.
In terms of qualifications, you should have:
• Professional experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, ideally in educational or caregiving settings.
• Educational background in related fields such as Psychology, Special Education, or Social Work (not required but preferred).
• A high school diploma or equivalent, with proof of transcripts.
• A valid driver's license, proof of car insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• The ability to start part-time and grow into a full caseload.
