Lab Assistant - Remote Laboratory Services
The laboratory assistant is responsible for assembling remote specimen collection kits and handling incoming calls from patients, external health organizations, and Mayo Allied Health staff. This role also includes maintaining supply inventory, stocking and receiving shipments, and troubleshooting issues related to specimen collections. The laboratory assistant regularly uses various computer information systems and participates in continuous improvement activities. The Lab Assistant may be assigned additional duties as needed.

• Individuals hired into this position are required 2 complete 2 years in the role before becoming eligible to transfer to other positions within Mayo Clinic.
