Job Summary
We're on the hunt for a seasoned iOS Developer who can design, build, and maintain high-performance, high-availability, and fraud-tolerant technology app platforms for B2B transactions. If you're a skilled professional with a passion for creating pixel-perfect, trustworthy, and delightful user experiences, we want to hear from you! As a key member of our engineering team, you'll work closely with our founding team, who bring expertise from investment banking, venture capital, and hypergrowth unicorns in the region.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, high-availability, and fraud-tolerant technology app platforms for B2B transactions with minimal guidance.
- User Experience: Create pixel-perfect and trustworthy iOS experiences that are functional, reliable, and delightfully easy to use for thousands of users across the region.
- Unit Testing: Design unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Communication: Effectively communicate your technical solutions and product ideas within the engineering teams, and the broader product organization.
- Issue Resolution: Monitor, debug, and fix issues in production at a high velocity based on user impact.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in developing highly scalable, performant applications.
- Programming Language: Sound understanding of Swift as a programming language.
- Backend Experience: Working experience with Backend Restful APIs and Firebase APIs.
- Start-up Experience: Preferably working experience in a start-up before.
