Key Responsibilities:
As a Remote Call Center Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Managing inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats based on business needs
- Navigating multiple computer systems to resolve consumer issues and document interactions as needed
- Managing and maintaining your schedule through both Whirlpool and Randstad computer systems, including logging in and out, time off requests, and ensuring timecard accuracy
- Utilizing multiple computer screens and equipment, requiring computer setup comprehension
- Helping consumers resolve issues, providing troubleshooting information, placing consumer-initiated orders, and scheduling service while ensuring consumers are fully satisfied when the call, email, or chat is completed
- Negotiating and diffusing escalated consumer interactions by demonstrating soft skills and issue ownership

Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service environment
- Experience working in a remote or home-based environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with Whirlpool or similar consumer goods company
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and computer systems
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving customer complaints
Skills and Competencies:
To excel in this role, you will need to possess:
- Telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Basic software skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a quiet and distraction-free environment with hard-wired internet
