About the Role: Java Software Engineer, Customer Systems

We're on the hunt for a seasoned Java Developer to join our Client Systems team. As a key player in this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Blithequark, working closely with business leaders and associates to implement cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support large-scale Java applications, focusing on customer systems and enterprise-level solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead the development of scalable, secure, and efficient software systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Architect and implement microservices-based systems, RESTful APIs, and data access layers.
• Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning principles, applying them to large-scale data systems.
• Ensure the security and reliability of distributed applications, adhering to industry best practices.
• Drive and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing system performance and scalability.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in designing and developing large-scale enterprise-level backend solutions using Java.
• Proficiency in Java and Java-based project development, including design, development, and support.
• Strong experience with dynamic programming, multi-threading, REST, data holding organizations, DB design, and data access progressions.
• Extensive hands-on experience with artificial intelligence and building deals with large-scale data systems.
• Experience with designing, developing, and deploying scalable REST-based stateless APIs/web services for web applications and mobile clients.
• Knowledge of architecting and describing Application layers in SOA/Microservices landscapes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a large enterprise with a global environment, across different time zones and geographies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to perform multiple tasks and support unique, synchronous endeavors.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed expectations.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a loosely coordinated organization.
• Familiarity with Responsive Java applications and experience with driving and training modelers.
