Job Overview

As a Customer Service Representative - Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of patient information and prescription data. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize blithequark's proprietary data entry techniques and guidelines to process new patient enrollments by entering information into the appropriate system.
• Handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
• Research and obtain missing prescription information, and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
• Resolve all data entry-related exceptions by investigating, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual claim requirements.
• Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, emails) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary.
• Resolve third-party rejects by investigating, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual claim requirements.
• Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those in other locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic level PC skills, including the ability to start up and shut down a PC, use a mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, and access information online.
• Basic web navigation skills, including the ability to open a browser, type URLs in the correct location, use a search engine, bookmark a webpage, navigate back/forward/stop buttons, and complete forms online.
• Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment.
• At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a certification/enrollment by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or a widely recognized certification organization.
• Experience providing customer care to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
• Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
