GIS Developer SME (Remote)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Participate in the design and requirements gathering for a GIS integration with an existing end-user system
• Lead the implementation of a GIS integration, including supporting other developers on the effort
• Use data from existing systems to create, populate, and manipulate map-based visualizations of that data
• Provide training and support for GIS users
• Act as a general SME for GIS technologies
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with 5 - 8 years of experience or commensurate experience
• Experience in GIS-based technology development and implementation (both back-end and front-end)
• Ability to leverage large datasets integrated with GIS technology
• Experience in teaching or coaching others in GIS technology
Nice-to-haves
• Javascript development experience
• ServiceNow development experience
