About the Role

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to balance your time between our remote office and home. The successful candidate will be expected to work 20 hours per week, assisting with administering the Digital Marketing class, grading assignments, helping students, preparing materials, administering exams, and assisting in class. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with administering the Digital Marketing class, including grading assignments and exams
  • Provide support to students, answering questions and addressing concerns

  • Perform other related duties, as assigned

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a student at Penn State University (not employed previously at the university) or a current employee (faculty, staff, technical service, or student)
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant or tutor
  • Knowledge of learning management systems, such as Canvas
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
