Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced IT Business Management Leader to join our Application Development & Support team. As a key member of our IT leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to develop and implement IT business management frameworks, policies, and financial plans that drive business growth and alignment. You'll work closely with IT leadership, finance, and business stakeholders to optimize IT spending, drive cost-saving initiatives, and provide financial insights that inform strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an IT Business Management framework and policies to ensure effective alignment of IT delivery to business objectives
• Collaborate with IT leadership and finance to develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
• Manage, monitor, and analyze IT costs, including software, personnel, third-party labor, and other IT-specific expenditures
• Identify opportunities to optimize IT spending and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality or business objectives
• Work with the IT Cost Transparency team to organize expenses into cost pools and develop a bill of IT and service costing model
• Monitor and report on performance metrics and KPIs, driving them to optimal levels with IT leadership
• Collaborate with the Portfolio management team to cost projects, ongoing IT services, and return on investment (ROI), measuring realization of ROI within the company
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to IT leadership and business stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
• Manage financial analysis and modeling to support business cases for IT investments, projects, and initiatives
• Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in IT financial management, leveraging this knowledge to drive continuous improvement
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Eight (8) years of IT professional experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
• Five (5) years of experience in financial management tools such as Excel, SAP, or Oracle Financials

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential qualifications, we're looking for candidates with:

• Technology/Information Systems Management experience (preferred)
• Management Accounting experience (a plus)
• IT Financial Planning & Analysis experience
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Experience with managing Technology financial analysis, budgeting
• Proven ability to develop and exercise project plans with minimal supervision
• A quick learner, detail-oriented, organized, strong problem-solving skills, and collaboration across teams, functions, and organizations
