Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to every caller, ensuring a positive and memorable experience
  • Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations
  • Effectively handle customer concerns by utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution
  • Confidentially handle policy owner information and ensure compliance and communication standards are met
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and changes, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position, where there is a high value placed on the customer/member experience. Insurance or call center experience is preferred, and you should have a demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude, technical aptitude, and experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; some college-level coursework preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position
  • Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures (preferred)
  • Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework (preferred)

  • Insurance or call center experience
  • Knowledge of various insurance products
  • Experience working in a fast-paced inbound contact center environment
