Job Summary

As General Manager, Atlanta Operations, you will lead and motivate a team of DPS professionals responsible for providing top-notch customer service and support to Delta Air Lines and the DPS Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP-CTP). You will drive business growth, develop client relationships, and lead efforts to create streamlined business and day-to-day operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead DPS Program Managers assigned to Delta Air Lines and the ATP-CTP, providing guidance, coaching, and inspiration to ensure high-performance delivery.
  • Foster strong relationships with client leadership teams, ensuring seamless customer interactions and exceptional service delivery.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, improve processes, and enhance customer experience.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver premium services on time, every time, and partner with client leadership to identify target needs, staffing requirements, and potential areas for growth.
  • Manage DPS P/L as it relates to area of responsibility, making informed decisions to drive business results.
  • Support the relationship and communication strategies with the client's multiple teams, ensuring effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Prioritize safety and security, establishing an environment of continuous improvement and adhering to DPS values.

Additional Program Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive list of work processes related to client support and document step-by-step process flows for each identified process.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline key workstreams and processes within the department, driving efficiency and effectiveness.

What You Need to Succeed

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with relevant experience in a leadership role.
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate (Airline Transport Pilot Certificate preferred).
  • Previous leadership experience in a FAR Part 121 Air Carrier Flight Training & Standards, Operations, or Safety Department, or a Part FAA Part 142 Training Center.
  • Solid organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and present to employees and executive leadership.
  • Conversant with Air Carrier Flight Training Operations and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Proficiency with MS Office 365 and ability to learn other Delta/DPS software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the aviation industry, preferably with Delta Air Lines or a similar organization.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in managing P/L and driving business growth.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with process improvement and automation, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
