Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Credit Cards and Unsecured Lending (CCUL) Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a CCUL Customer Service Representative, you will perform a variety of customer service activities for TD credit customers, including responding to telephone, written, and other inquiries regarding account balances, interest rates, lost or stolen cards, charges, balance transfers, statement requests, fraud, and other issues. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, and your goal will be to provide exceptional customer experiences, resolve problems efficiently, and ensure that our customers' needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other channels, providing timely and accurate solutions to their problems or concerns
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, escalating complex issues to senior personnel when necessary
  • Process customer transactions, such as balance transfers, statement requests, and account updates, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain updated customer account information, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as sales and marketing, to provide customer feedback and insights that can inform business decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and company policies, ensuring that you're always equipped to provide the best possible service to our customers

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of related experience in customer service, preferably in a financial services environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues efficiently and effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
  • Availability to work a variable schedule, including nights and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Bilingual Spanish skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking customers
  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of credit card products and services, as well as relevant regulatory requirements and industry trends
  • Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology systems
