About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our team of data management professionals. As a key member of our information management team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes from the comfort of your own home. With a strong background in data warehousing, data modeling, and data analytics, you'll work closely with our application development team to design, implement, and maintain data systems that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
  • Working with the application development team to execute data systems, build data pipelines, and develop data models that meet business requirements.
  • Designing and implementing coherent and accurate data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and support application, group, and intelligent use cases.
  • Developing, enhancing, and updating data models to support new and existing projects according to organizational guidelines.
  • Designing data modeling solutions optimized for social, layered, and NoSQL databases.
  • Maintaining applied, coherent, and accurate data models along with corresponding metadata.
  • Developing and implementing standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models.
  • Suggesting opportunities for reuse of data models in new contexts.
  • Performing reverse engineering of actual data models from databases and SQL scripts.
  • Assessing data models and actual databases for changes and errors.
  • Approving business data objects for accuracy and completeness.
  • Examining data-related system integration challenges and proposing suitable solutions.
  • Guiding Framework Investigators, Architects, Software Engineers, and others on project boundaries and capabilities, execution requirements, and interfaces.
  • Surveying adjustments to existing software to improve productivity and performance.
  • Examining new application design and suggesting remedies when necessary.

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • A strong academic record and a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 10+ years of hands-on experience in data warehousing.
  • Strong knowledge of various data modeling techniques for data warehousing, including 3NF, Layered, and hybrid.
  • Experience working with large-scale (100 TB+) data warehouses (DW) and operational data stores (ODS).
  • Critical experience in building data models for MPP, Social, and NoSQL technologies, such as BigData, Hive, SQL*Server, Hadoop, Cassandra, Cloud DBs like Large Query or Snowflake.
  • Excellent experience working with globally distributed teams in a collaborative and productive way.
  • Strong relational and communication skills across a variety of stakeholders, ability to negotiate and influence others.
