Job Summary
The Full Stack Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for executing direct patient care programs, including but not limited to, drug treatment management programs, vaccination services, and payer and pharma adherence and clinical projects. This role will also drive the execution of various strategies and tasks to ensure business needs are being met, while ensuring consistency and quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute direct patient care programs, including but not limited to, drug treatment management programs, vaccination services, and payer and pharma adherence and clinical projects.
- Drive the execution of various strategies and tasks to ensure business needs are being met.
- Ensure consistency and quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by contemplating, assessing, and re-planning processes; observing and examining results; and executing changes.
- Guarantee region drug stores comply with administrative compliance, standard operating systems, and FDA guidelines.
- Drive local drug store financial performance by adjusting business systems to organization financial objectives.
- Carry out and execute patient intervention pharmacy projects to boost financial performance.
- Uphold efforts on improving patient experience by expanding focus on healthcare services (e.g., patient consultation, medication administration, drug treatment audits, and retail, clinical, or health services, etc.).
- Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership.
- Support staff training experiences and career development opportunities.
- Cultivate a shared vision and support organizational strategies, systems, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Conduct data and clinical audits and make vital moves to ensure accuracy and propriety of prescriptions.
- Review patient records and profiles to ensure appropriate and safe medication treatment.
- Provide individualized patient/provider discussion.
- Through utilization of exceptional interpersonal skills, win the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy concerns.
- Provide input regarding the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program, including comments from patients as the value of individual consultations.
- Be accountable for all inquiries, discussions, and responses which relate directly to patient treatment.
- Provide clinical counsel and information to patients, pharmacists, and payers as necessary.
- Perform other work consistent with the job duties in this record as allocated by management.
- Observe rules and procedures for all job duties to meet objectives.
- Comply with organizational policies and procedures, including all HIPAA rules/guidelines.
- Guarantee compliance with government, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
Essential Capabilities
- Current pharmacist license as granted by the relevant state licensing authority.
- Experience motivating colleagues to research and resolve issues.
- Experience working with confidential information.
- Able to work non-standard hours, which may include nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Experience utilizing time management skills, such as prioritizing/scheduling and following details and meeting time constraints of various tasks with fluctuating completion dates.
- Experience creating ways to achieve objectives with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete goals and determining when escalating issues.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Able to travel up to 10% of the ideal time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Capabilities
- Readiness to acquire other state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
- Knowledge of payers.
- Knowledge of PC operating systems, including Rhapsody, Commitment, and Plus.
- Essential level expertise in Microsoft Excel (e.g., opening a workbook, inserting a row, choosing font and size, designing cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save capabilities, adjusting text, choosing cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, choosing a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, choosing page orientation, using spell check or printing worksheets).
- Essential level expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, modifying, saving, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, focusing, and altering text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving items, printing slide view or running a slide show).
- Essential level expertise in Microsoft Word (e.g., opening a document, cutting, pasting, and adjusting text, choosing font type and size, changing margins and section width, arranging, inserting images, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet or printing capabilities).
