What You'll Do

As a Customer Care Specialist, you'll be the face of Cox Communications, providing top-notch service to our customers via phone, chat, and other channels. Your goal will be to resolve customer concerns, suggest products and services that meet their needs, and ensure they have a positive experience with our brand. Here are some of the key responsibilities you'll be expected to handle:

  • Assess customers' needs and suggest relevant products and services for their home and business needs.
  • Adjust billing, negotiate claims, and arrange product substitutions or returns as needed.
  • Manage customer concerns while meeting goals in Serving, Solving, and Selling.
  • Stay up-to-date on Cox Business products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Own the customer experience and ensure that every interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Provide support to internal sales reps and other teams as needed.

Who You Are

We're looking for a talented Customer Care Specialist who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Here are some of the key qualifications and skills we're looking for:

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
  • 6 months of experience using a computer and navigating multiple screens.
  • 1 or more years of customer service experience, with a focus on creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excellent skills in sales orientation, multi-tasking, building customer rapport, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to learn and apply new procedures, with a strong aptitude for adapting to change.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, with a solid analytical mindset.
  • Must live in Phoenix, AZ, Tucson, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, or a surrounding community within those states.
  • Ability to work in a highly structured call center environment.
  • Enthusiastic and personable, with a positive attitude and a passion for customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working in a position that requires meeting sales goals.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, not specific to just Call Centers.
  • Strong aptitude for helping customers and a customer experience focus.
  • Ability to adapt to constant change and stay flexible in a fast-paced environment.

Training and Scheduling

Our training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed as a Customer Care Specialist. Training will begin on May 13th, 2024, and will cover a range of topics, including product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques. After training, you'll participate in a shift bid process to determine your schedule, which may include 8-hour or 10-hour shifts.
