Senior Commercial Insurance Broker - Complex Risk (Remote First)
About Us:
Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional client experience with each interaction taking into consideration the needs of the Elite client portfolio.
- Proactively manage the renewal process for existing Elite clients in advance of their renewal date, remarketing as needed.
- Assess the unique insurance requirements of high premium accounts by conducting a needs analysis, risk consultation, and making appropriate coverage recommendations based on the client’s current business operation and exposure.
- Act as a primary contact between the Accounts and Renewal team, working collaboratively with Elite Brokers, to provide a positive client and insurer interaction and create win-win solutions.
- Liaise with insurance partners to negotiate the best possible insurance package to meet the needs of the client.
- Handle overflow of non-Elite renewals as needed.
- Be a mentor and work towards elevating the experience and knowledge of new and existing team members.
- Participate in projects to support process improvement, workflow testing, and collaborating with other Elite Brokers as well as the engineering teams.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience within the commercial insurance industry.
- Provincial Insurance License in good standing.
- CAIB, CIP, or other insurance relationship designation is considered an asset.
- Superior attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent client service orientation both internally and externally.
