Key Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions to clients, ensuring a safe and effective experience
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, promoting a positive and supportive environment
• Promote the StretchLab experience and retain current clientele through excellent customer service and communication
• Ensure safety of clients by utilizing proper stretching techniques and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices
• Clean and maintain stretch benches and equipment, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Flexologist at StretchLab, you'll need:

• A passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility, and a love for working in a boutique fitness environment
• Experience working in a fitness or health environment, providing hands-on training to clients
• A fitness certification (e.g. personal training, yoga, Pilates) or an undergraduate degree in a related field (e.g. kinesiology, exercise science, sports medicine)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a positive and welcoming environment for clients
• A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies
• Availability to complete our Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 2 days of in-person/hands-on training

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Previous experience in a related field, such as physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, or massage therapy
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and the ability to apply this knowledge to stretching and mobility techniques
• Experience working with a diverse range of clients, including varying ages, abilities, and fitness levels
