Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of ground activities, including loading, unloading, and servicing aircraft.
- Load, unload, and service aircraft, including handling baggage, cargo, and mail.
- Operate ground support equipment, such as belt loaders, air start units, and lift trucks.
- Perform aircraft cabin cleaning, including cleaning upholstery, windows, and galleys.
- Transport luggage, cargo, and other materials between aircraft and terminals.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and handling multiple priorities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including submitting Freight Receptacle Stacking Slips (CBLS) to Operations Specialists.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; no experience prerequisite.
- Valid state-issued driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain a SIDA badge and meet all airport requirements.
- U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. required; no sponsorship available.
- Ability to lift and move objects of up to 70 pounds, and favoring on a regular basis.
- Ability to climb, bend, stoop, crawl, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work in confined or high places.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of aircraft operations and ground support equipment.
- Certification in a related field, such as aviation or logistics.
