Mechanical Spatial Analyst

ALTEN is seeking a Mechanical Spatial Analyst to work on embedded systems on board telecommunications satellites, in direct contact with major space industry players.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• Master's degree or 3+ years of experience in mechanical spatial analysis, design, and simulation
• Experience with finite element method (FEM) and finite element modeling (FEM) software
• Proficiency in CAD software and finite element method software
• Knowledge of thermomechanical, dynamic, and acoustic analysis
• Familiarity with industry-standard finite element software (e.g. ANSYS, MSC Nastran)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software
• Certification in finite element method (e.g. ANSYS Certified
• Master's degree or 3+ years of experience in mechanical spatial analysis, design, and simulation
