About the role:You'll be architecting AI agents that handle real-world financial transactions at scale, building autonomous systems that need to be both intelligent and bulletproof. We're not looking for another "AI specialist" to check boxes—we're building something audacious: digital intelligence from the ground up. Whether you're passionate about applied machine learning, obsessed with robust agent architectures, or skilled in building high-performance distributed AI systems. What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Build & Ship:Develop, test, and deploy backend features and APIs in Elixir, ensuring code serves millions of users safely and efficiently.
  • Craft Experiences:Design reliable backend systems and intuitive APIs that make complex financial operations robust and seamless for our customers.
  • Solve & Optimize:Investigate and resolve issues while continuously improving performance, concurrency, and scalability across our distributed systems.
  • Collaborate & Plan:Participate in feature planning, estimation, and scoping alongside product and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Mentor & Learn:Review pull requests, pair program with teammates, and contribute to our engineering culture of continuous improvement.

  • Engineering Excellence:Python mastery is expected, flexibility with other languages as well.
  • Deployment Warrior:You don't just build – you ship. CI/CD, infrastructure, and keeping complex AI systems running in production are second nature to you.
  • Problem Obsessed:You don't clock out when things get difficult. You're the type who loses sleep over unsolved puzzles and wakes up with solutions.
  • Framework Fluent:Experience with RAG pipelines, LangChain/LangGraph, and integration with major LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) isn't just preferred – it's required.
  • Bullshit Allergic:You value direct communication, tangible results, and spend zero energy on corporate theater.
  • Portuguese Fluency:Fluent Portuguese communication isn't optional – our agents work with Portuguese-language data and clients daily. You need to think, debug, and communicate seamlessly in Portuguese.
